Washington D.C.

So, I got accepted to BYU's Washington Seminar program. I will spending next fall in Washington D.C. working in some government office as an intern somewhere, I am not sure yet though. Anyhow, at Thanksgiving I went to D.C. and had a wonderful time. Here are some highlights!

Bill is pretty excited for me to come to D.C. Here he is giving me some props!

Heres me and George Washington hanging out, he invited me to his house... (see below)

This is pretty self explanatory.

Me and Aubro at Mt. Vernon. We saw a movie about George Wafhington (they kept spelling with an 'f' there) and it was narrated by America's Sweetheart, Pat Sajak.

While we were touring that there house, this lady kept asking the docents where the bathrooms were, and was very suprised to find out there was no indoor plumbing at Mt. Vernon! She would not take no for answer and kept asking everyone she met. It was quite entertaining. So was her ensemble.
Another cool thing about Mount Vernon is that you can see G Dubs "teeth"...
These were pretty awesome..... but i cant say they would be comfortable!!!
Lincoln.
Wow.

Here we are at the Capitol. They were are already setting up for the inaguaration! It was pretty legit. There were a bunch of Korean dudes wrestling on the lawn in front of the Capitol too... oh good times!
I think this was the old Supreme Court.... but i can't remember. it was nice tho.

This is the scariest picture of Abraham Lincoln I have ever seen.

All in all it was a good trip. I ate chicken and waffles. One day I ate belgian waffles. And then popeyes after that. anyhow im super excited to go to DC this fall! its gonna be great!
